One of the top pole-vaulters in the area last spring was Josh Patterson, a three sport athlete out of Sparta. Josh was diagnosed with leukemia on July 18th. As the regular season comes to a close, these rankings are pretty accurate. They obviously don’t dictate postseason success, but they do provide a pretty clear picture of how the top Grand Rapids teams would be seeded, if that were how the playoffs were done.
